DOCUMENTATION

Deployment guides

Build locally. Deploy the finished browser game.

Static HTML

  1. Run your build command, if your project uses a bundler.
  2. Use relative asset paths. With Vite, set base to "./" before building.
  3. ZIP the contents of the output directory. Include index.html at the ZIP root.
game.zip
  index.html
  assets/
  scripts/

Deploy

Create a project, choose your framework, then deploy the ZIP. Once validation completes, open the production URL.

Runtime limits

80 MB maximum compressed and extracted size; up to 4,000 entries. Builds run in an isolated sandbox. Browser persistence, service workers and SharedArrayBuffer are unavailable. External assets need anonymous CORS access. Builds using absolute /assets paths must be rebuilt with relative paths.

Verified configurations: Godot 4.7.1 single-thread, Unity 2019.2 and Unity 6.1, Cocos Creator 2.0 and 3.8.2. Other engine versions need their own runtime check.
